Following recent Goverment advice, we have decided to secure and temporarily close all Cocksedge Building Contractors' live sites, to ensure the health and safety of our employees and supply-chain subcontractors is given highest priority throughout these unprecedented circumstances.

We feel this is the only way forward, as in practice, our building sites provide considerable high-level risks when trying to establish social distance working boundaries. Furthermore, many of our suppliers are taking similar steps to avoid unnecessary health risks, which will undoubtedly lead to excessive unproductive working conditions. Our decision will also assist to free up transport networks ensuring key workers' movements are proritised.

It is our intention, that where possible, everyone should be encouraged to stay at home, unless they have a role to play in the UK's efforts to control the pandemic.

To summarise, our live sites will be secured and close from 5pm 25th March 2020, until further notice. A limited selection of key staff will continue to work from home to deal with site security arrangements and tender enquiries.

Our teams will be back on site as soon as it is safe to do so, with a commitment to work with our Client's and project teams to minimise the eventual impact, once the potential spread of the virus is under control.
