As part of our continual improvement programme, we are pleased to confirm that our ongoing commitment to providing a safe working environment to protect our employees, as well as our supply chain and the general public, has been formally recognised by Certification of our Occupational Health & Safety Management System to ISO 45001:2018.

ISO 45001 was published in March 2018 establishing the first International Standards for companies to meet their Health and Safety obligations in an efficient and effective manner.

Implementation of our ISO 45001 management system provides a safe and healthy workplace along with a consistent approach across our business in relation to the management of risk, worker consultation and the occupational health and wellbeing of our employees.

This includes not only their physical wellbeing but also their mental health closely supported by our external occupational health provider and in-house mental health first aiders, who are trained to listen and guide colleagues to appropriate help when emotional support is needed.

In addition, advice sessions are being organised across our sites where workers can drop-by and discuss relevant issues with an Occupational Health professional including Well Being clinics specifically for our Supply Chain working on our sites.

Our focus and aim is to prevent work related injury and ill health by proactively improving our Occupational Health and Safety performance.

This new accreditation adds to Cocksedge's UKAS approved credentials, which include our ISO 9001 Quality Management System, and ISO 14001 Environment Management System, providing a truly Integrated approach to Business Management.
