The mixed-tenure dwellings consist of semi-detached houses and two apartment blocks, one of which includes a food and convenience store on the ground floor. The new homes are constructed using timber frames, with brickwork and render facades which include contemporary detailing and high-quality fittings. We have worked closely with our design team of Architect’s, Engineers and Landscape Designers with early involvement from our supply-chain of specialist subcontractors to ensure a high-level of coordination for all services installations.
The scheme also required early involvement to invoke a ground remediation strategy and investigations to establish a sustainable drainage system, in compliance with pre-commencement planning conditions. Quality of finish has also been a priority with a strict regime of snagging and de-snagging before each batch of units are offered to the Employer’s Agent for hand-over inspections.
