The project involved the re-routing of MEPH services and the major demolition of the estates tower at North Cambs Hospital, Wisbech, to make way for additional parking areas. The demolition was undertaken in a controlled manner so that the Hospital’s existing vehicular and pedestrian access could remain in use with minimal disruption. Additional elements of work were added to the Contract, such as internal refurbishment of kitchen and ward areas and external works to a form a patient drop-off area.
