The new build community sports and activity hub provides events, meeting and conference spaces with integrated audio-visual equipment, a café with commercial catering facilities and an IT suite. The new hub also serves as changing and locker rooms with a physio room for a 3G sports pitch which incorporates flood lighting and spectator seating.
Our Delivery Team worked closely to coordinate all design disciplines for the large-span steel frame structure, ensuring suitable detailing for integration of energy efficient services within the metal standing seam and timber clad building envelope. The project also included extensive Section 278 Highway Works and management of utility supply upgrades.
The project received a Norfolk Association of Architects Design & Craftmanship Commendation and has been applauded as a major benefit to the local community.
