The works comprised structural alterations and improvements to modernise the Porter’s Lodge. Bespoke joinery was manufactured and installed to provide a new post-room with pigeon-holes and a new reception area complete with curved benching, display cases and a welcome desk. Careful attention was given to new stonework ashlars, internal exposed facing brickwork as well as oak and flag flooring. The project also included improvements to the external paved approach. The project was completed within a live College environment with delivery and noise restrictions.
