A range of topics were discussed including skill shortages, gaps in education in the construction industry as well as possible solutions for these widespread problems encountered by the companies who were represented by people in the room.
Construction East aims to unite the local construction industry, so running workshops and get-togethers strengthens their pathway towards this goal. They provide resources, educate and help utilise vital skills across the industry in Norfolk, Suffolk and the wider Eastern region. They are vital in building a skilful future workforce for companies like us.
We found the session, which was led by David Henry of MJS Projects, very informative and we are all looking forward to further involvement with Construction East over the coming months.
